One year ago, the world lost one of the GREATEST ICONS that ever lived! The world still misses you Whitney. Legends Never Die! #RipWhitneyHouston

The 2013 Grammy Awards was not that great! It was very boring and unfortunately that is 3 and a half hours that I can NEVER get back! So, I'm just going to talk about those people I did like! The first performance I liked was Alicia Keys and Maroon 5! I love "Girl on Fire" so I was really excited when she decided to sing that song. That was a great performance by both Alicia Keys and Maroon 5 (although I have NEVER heard a Maroon 5 song! lol). And both Alicia Keys and Adam Levine looked GOOD! Next, I loved Kelly Clarkson's performances. I have always been a fan of hers. Her voice send chills down my spine, so soultry! The last person I'd like to discuss is Carrie Underwood. Her voice is powerful, so she nailed her performance. And her dress and it's effects left me SPEECHLESS... amazed to say the least. Two people that should have performed was my Idol, Beyonce and the wonderful Adele... but hey, at least I got to see them both! But other than that, I could have spent those hours watching "The Jackson 5: An American Dream". Damnit!

Congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens on their Super Bowl win! So millions of us watched the game on February 3, and along with the game came a LOT of buzz about the performances, commercials, the power outage, and last but not least the game itself! First, Jennifer Hudson, along with the Sandy Hook Elementary students won us over with the "America, The Beautiful" performance. That was indeed an emotional performance. Next, Alicia Keys gave us her rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner", in which sounded good as well, especially since she included the piano accompaniment.  The last but definitely not least performance was my Idol, the BEAUTIFUL and TALENTED, Ms. Beyonce Giselle Knowles. That performance was FIRE! I was so glad when I saw Kelly and Michelle zoom up out of the stage and we got a DC reunion! Beyonce did her thing! After my Idol got off of the stage, there was a power outage (the cause is still unknown! lol). I say Beyonce did it with all of her fancy stage effects, but who cares? That outage almost made the 49ers get on top...but luckily, they didn't! And VICTORY was indeed sweet for football great, Ray Lewis. That was Ray's last game before his retirement, and I'm so happy that he had a GRAND exit! Best wishes for him in the future! So, all in all, what a GREAT Super Bowl Sunday! <3
